An astonishing six million people are estimated to have died as a result of the conflict in the Congo – the largest war-related death toll since the Second World War. What is perhaps more appalling to citizens geographically removed from this conflict, is the fact that our consumption of seemingly indispensable high-tech gadgets – cell phones, mp3 players, laptops and video game systems – may have substantially contributed to this holocaust.

Extra Extra!!!...Hipocrisia corre solta no mundo dos esportes!!...Grande novidade...um atleta fumando maconha...E a impresa horrorizada poe fotos pelo mundo...e a Kellogs cancela o patrocinio...what a crock of shit!!!...Eu acho que o Phelps vacilou sim...mas por ter baixado a guarda e deixar ser fotografado num momento vuneravel...e depois por ler uma desculpa esfarrapada pra fazer crer que estava arrependido pelo que tinha feito....esses foram os seus erros.
Eis aqui o que eu acho que ele deveria dizer:
"Yes i did!!!...I smoke pot and i like it!!!...I get stoned and still manage to be the best in what i do...So...Be satisfied with that...Go fuck yourselfs and leave me alone....!!!"...Essa seria uma boa declaracao a impresa...

Ps...Eu convivi com atletas no meu tepo de universidade...gente do deparetamento de educacao fisica...e digo com conhecimento de causa...95 por cento deles eram extremamente dedicados maconheiros....O grande problema aqui nao 'e que Phelps fuma maconha...mas sim...quando 'e que vamos comecar a falar serio a respeito de drogas elimando hipocrisia e preconceitos do discurso.
